Hooray for cranberry season! This is quite possibly one of my favorite fruits to bake and cook with. There are an abundant amount of fall recipes out right now that incorporate this delicious fruit. Did you know that cranberries have a good amount of vitamin C in them and are a good source of fiber? Did you also know that we are in the month of Smoovember? You know, Smoovember. Today I’m bringing you a delicious fall smooth packed with protein. I used a combination of cranberries and almond milk for a rich flavor, topped off with yogurt and protein powder. This is a great breakfast option or a post-workout recharge drink. I have never worked with almond milk before but cranberries and almond sounded like a nice flavor combination. Almond milk offers a nutritional profile similar to cow’s milk, is low in calories and can help in weight management.

- ½ cup vanilla yogurt
- 3-4 ice cubes
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- ¼ cup fresh cranberries
- Combine all ingredients in the base of the blender and blend until smooth. Serve and enjoy!
