As the month of October comes to a close I’m sitting here reflecting on how busy the month had been and wondering how it flew by so quickly! My month was packed with birthdays, end of summer parties and two weeks straight of travel to three different destinations. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a bit exhausted, but I honestly wouldn’t choose to live my life any other way. You see, when I said ‘yes’ to turning my blog into a business last year I was committing a very busy lifestyle and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

That Time I Said ‘Yes’ to My Dream

Some of you may not know that blogging is actually something that I have done part time for the past 5 years. Outside of my job that requires 40+ hours per week of my time I also am committed to bringing you delicious content week after week. This requires a lot of time on my nights and weekends developing recipes, cooking tasty dishes, editing photos and connecting with each of you on social media daily. Sounds a bit exhausting, right? There are times that I’m exhausted and want to just throw in the towel but 99% of the time I tell myself how lucky I am to be doing something that I love.

Last year I filed all of the documents to turn my blog into an actual business. A REAL BUSINESS! Owning my own business is something that I never in a million years thought I would be doing. But I’m doing it! This blog has opened up my life to so many amazing opportunities including travel and I’m thankful for all the relationships that I have made along the way. I have been able to connect with some incredible food brands and experienced food on an entirely new level. If you’re thinking to yourself ‘Boy, she’s really lucky!’ you are correct! But you can also choose an incredible life for yourself as well just by saying ‘yes’ to your own dreams.

My passion for this blog comes out of my love of cooking that I’ve had since I was a child. However, there are some days where I just feel so exhausted that I can’t imagine slicing or dicing another vegetable so I like to turn to other quick and wholesome meals to fill my belly. Well Yes!® Soups are a staple in my pantry because they are quick to warm up and I can get a bowl filled with nutritious ingredients in a hurry. All Well Yes! Soups contain purposeful ingredients that do not contain artificial flavors or colors and they are made with non-gmo ingredients.
